Kayaks:

Kurt Vonnegut is a douchebag

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 5, 2006, 6:57 PM
Cat's Cradle and Slaughterhouse V are the only worthwhile books of his to read. All others that I've read or attempted to read are just him droning on and on about WW2, Paul Slazinger, Jackson Pollock and Suicides. Oh, and he named a fountain in a book after himself. I don't care what fucking purpose he had with it, it's just too vain and self-glorifying to be qualified as shit worth reading.

Rant ended. B'Bai!! ^_^

Greh...40k taking over mind

Journal Entry: Sat Aug 19, 2006, 10:51 AM
Hokay, so...school is approaching, I have homework for random classes to do, preseason is going on...and then BOOM. [link] and [link] happen. It looks like I'm forced to indulge in the contentless , meaningless, and plotless visual awesome of the universe of warhammer 40k. It's got it's own gothic-futuristic (at times almost fetish-like) takes on inquisitorial heretic purgings and witch burnings that make all those with a nerdy and/or gothic side to them squeal with glee. Of course, you're feeling all guilty because gamesworkshop is cheesier than all that BS endorsed by Kraft's orange dinosaur, but the redeeming mmmmmmmm of power armor, xenos, heretics, mutants, traitors, and of course the inquisition is still there (Did I mention how kinky the inquisition gets). Oh, and adeptus mechanicus ftw. <3

----------
EDIT:
Shatter, this means linearts for you if I can dig up my old gorrilaz-styled inquisitor and feel I can't color her. > :D

Massive filter-whoring will be needed though...
